Conglomerate of113101working face’3-1coal seam roof, Bojianghaizi mine of Western Inner Mongolia, is facing porosity development and has a significant water feature, which has had a serious impact on the safety of roadway, rapid excavation and mining. Therefore, it is very important to detect the aquosity of roof rock. Currently, using integrated geophysical methods is a trend in detecting the aquosity of roof rock. Restricted by construction conditions and technology methods, the accuracy of detecting the abnormal areas with aquosity still cannot reach the requirements. Thus, activly conducting the application and research of detecting the aquosity of roof rock of working face with integrated geophysical methods in Western Inner Mongolia is of practical significance. The main coal mines of Bojianghaizi in Western Inner Mongolia belong to the Jurassic layer. We integrate the existing geological data to analyze. We find that composite structure of pore-fracture is prevalent, and they have hydraulic contacts with the above aquifer of Cretaceous layer on the lateral and longitudinal directions. For this special geological condition, the paper uses the integrated geophysical techniques to detect and study the aquosity of coal bed considering the actual site conditions. It mainly includes:use mine transient electromagnetic technology to forecast the aquosity of roof ahead of the roadway in the tunneling process; determine the aquosity of working face’s roof with parallel electric detection technology in the formed dual-gateway of working face to provide the technical guidance for the layout of drainage holes; obtain the explanation standard of abnormal aquosity in the mining area by summarizing analyzing the large number of detection materials based on existing methods and technology.Meanwhile, on the basis of collecting the materials of exploration and drainage holes, this paper analyzes and studies the connection between the aquosity of roof rock and its resistivity and obtains a set of quantitative evaluation criteria. It has also deeply studied the aquosity of Jurassic aquifer and rule of hydraulic recharge. These criteria can provide guidance for the mine to prevent and treat pore water of Jurassic layer. In the end, this paper explores the development of using integrated geophysical techniques to detect the aquosity of roof rock of working face and provides advice for the detection and prevention of anti-water work of working face’s roof.
