Study On The Mobile GIS-based Railway Survey Data Acquisition System

Abstract:Traditional railway survey data acquisition has volume of work. The data from paper must be typed-in the computer and the form of the results conversion is also a problem. In order to improve the traditional way of railway survey data acquisition which based on field paper, this paper has studied the "railway field data acquisition system based on mobile GIS". This system puts the functions such as data preparation, analysis, processing, transmission, and other functions in one.In order to improve the operational efficiency of rail survey data acquisition, applying the technology of mobile GIS technology, mobile computing, mobile database technology and other related theories, this article put forward the new process and mode of data collection and provides a new way of thinking of getting rid of the traditional paper operating mode. Combining the actual demand of railway survey data collection work flow, this article studies the structure and function architecture of a data acquisition system based on mobile system. On this basis, by the comprehensive utilization of the Eclipse development platform and mobile GIS secondary development component, this article initially established a "rail line adjustment based on mobile GIS data collection system", which.takes the advantage of the platform for massive offline data processing. The system solves the flow and reliability issues of mobile end when handling huge amounts of data, and it also can adjust the data in the early period of the railway survey, it implements the field collection in off-line mode, and other functions.The system collects all the function of data preparation, analysis, processing, transmission, etc and meets the need of the railway field data acquisition well. This system has the following functions such as spatial data display, add, query, editing. It realizes the data sharing refer to the embedded space database technology.
