In rescent years,as people the growing demand for oil and gas resources, drilling explorationis taken attention by more and more researchers both at home and abroad.With the deepening ofthe research,drilling exploration plays a more and more important role in the field of geologicalprospecting. The related theory of well drilling exploration, such as survey calculation,anti-collision algorithm, target analysis algorithm, is also in constant development andimprovement.After years`efforts, plentiful and substantial achievements of well drillingexploration are gained. Resently, how to make the well drilling exploration theory be applied tothe construction site become a hot spot.Firstly, an investigation and analysis of the well drilling process is done in this paper. Thewell drilling process and the related terms of the well drilling exploration theory are deeplyunderstand, which provide basic information for the development of visualization of geologicalborehole track oriented software. Secondly, the well drilling exploration related technologies aredeeply studied. Three aspects, which are survey calculation, anti-collision algorithm and targetanalysis, are mainly studied. In the survey calculation algorithms, a new survey calculationalgorithm is put forward by in detail comparative analysis of the well trajectory model, which iswell bore trajectory survey algorithm based on unequal cylindrical spiral model. In theanti-collision algorithms, the determination of scanning point parameters is realized by usinginterpolate calculation algorithm. In the target analysis algorithms, seven types of target aredesigned. Considering on the difference of target analysis of directional wells and horizontal wells,the round target is used to the directional wells`target area and the rectangular target is used tohorizontal wells`target area.In this paper, the sub project of national key scientific instrument and equipmentdevelopment projects is visualization of geological borehole track oriented software, which is usedas the application part. Three aspects are deeply studied and analysis, which are the surveycalculation, anti-collision algorithm and target analysis algorithm. At the same time, we pay attention to the practical application, use the Qt programming language as development tools,achieved the visualization of geological borehole track oriented software’s development. Thesoftware helped the people who were engaged in geological prospecting.
