Study On The Tourist Map Design

Tourist map is a bridge for tourists to know about the tourist destination, and a tool to have profound understanding of the tourist destination. With the constant improvement of the national economy, the development of tourism has also accelerated greatly. Apart from work and life, a growing proportion of people choose to travel outside and they improve the market demand for tourism products; the government lays much emphasis on the people’s education and invests more and more in education, relatively raises the cultural quality of tourists; besides, the improvement of the quality of tourist culture also means the increase of tourists’ “taste”, making them put forward higher requirements for the service and travel products. In this case, tourist map, as a tourism product more urgently needs to improve the levels of the artistry and entertainment of maps on the basis of the guarantee their directivity function so as to better serve the tourists.Therefore, the design of the tourist map faces with unprecedented challenges. In order to solve the problem, from the angles of theory and the actual drawing, the paper emphatically explores how to combine animation painting techniques with tourist maps, let the tourist map both picture and map, which can reflect more artistic characters andentertainment functions while meeting the standard of correctness and provides a new train of thought for the design and drawing of tourist map.The paper studies artistic quality and entertainment of some ancient and modern maps, analyzes some modeling technique of animation. Next, through the comparative study of the ancient and modern maps of China and foreign countries, the paper finds inheritance and reference aspects. For example, the Chinese ancient maps with extremely high aesthetic value and collection value applied the landscape painting techniques.The main landscape painting techniques include image before drawing, “overlay” and scatter perspective method, which significantly enhance the art level and culture connotation of maps and also makes them more fascinating.
