| Research area is located in Qieji, Gonghe county of Qinghai province.The overall low-lying South High North.There are two rivers named Chachalongwa and Zhihaimai, which are originated in the south of Qieji mountain, from south to north, most of the water is to irrigate, a small water infiltration in the piedmont Quaternary loose layer to recharge groundwater. Piedmont aquifer mainly Upper Pleistocene alluvial gravel pebbles and Pleistocene muddy sand pebbles. The major source of groundwater recharge is Chachalongwa submarine groundwater flow, Zhihaimai submarine groundwater flow and some water seepage recharged.Distribution,Water-rich area,Chemical Characteristics of groundwater.they are controlled by regional faults(Nanshan fault), the fault stirk is north west- south east, through the southern edge of the Gonghe west basin, The fault is buried fault-South side rise and North side drop.South aide : Lithology is Composed by Sandy gravel and muddy gravel pebbles which caused by alluvial.groundwater recharge due to the river seepage from southern mountainous. Groundwater is shallow, rich, runoff smooth,and good- quality.North said: Stratum isloam alluvial lake phase, silt and fine sand, Duo to “Fall water” phenomenon at Nanshan faulet cause caused that Upper Pleistocene and Holocene gravel layer of gravel in the dewatering state in North,Groundwater Department hosted in Pleistocene sands interbedded fine clay soil and having no gravity pressure, poor rich water.In South,groundwater-level is 12.7-72.1m, aquifer thickness is 101.99-238.58 m, Calculation Inflow is 2415.48-7465.61 cubic meters per day, groundwater resources is rich.
