The Study On Anthropobiology Of Gejia

Gejia is one of the our country not yet been determined of ethnic identity. Along the Chongan Riverin Fengxiang Village of Huangping county is mainly inhabit a region.In order to study the anthropobiology characteristics of Gejia,311 cases(159 males and 152 females) of Gejia adult information and 255 cases (133 males and 122 females) of Gejia student population genetics of phenotypic characteristics information were surveyed in Fengxiang stockaded village and Wangbai village of Huangping county of Guizhou province in September of 2012. Respondents body without disability,for the third generation of local residents. Statistical analysis of the data is by Excel2003, SPSS 11.5,SPSS13.0 and other software.The results are as follows:(1) Gejia the eyefold of the upper eyelid up to the 80 percent, the mongoloid fold rate lower, medium height of palpebral fissure, the majority eye external angles higher, nasal root height of medium, the nasal dorsum straight, zygomatic protrusion of the weak, the base of the upturned nasal, the alae nasi height and breadth is medium, the level of the nostrils, earlobe rounded, red lips and skin of upper lip height is medium, Black hair, yellow skin and brown eye.(2) The stature of Gejia is short-sized type. Males head and face are mainly in brachycephaly(Length-breadth index of head), hypsicephalic type(Length-height index of head), aerocephalic type(Breadth-height index of head), euryprosopy and mesorrhiny. Females are mesocephaly, hypsicephalic type, metriocephalic type, mesoprosopy and mesorrhiny.Males body are mainly in middle trunk,medium chest circumference,broad shoulder breadth, broad distance between iliac crests, submakroskelic type. Females are mainly in middle trunk, broad chest circumference, broad shoulder breadth, broad distance between iliac crests,mesatiskelic type.(3)The Head,Maximum thigh,Maximum forearm,Maximum biceps of males and Maximum thigh、Calf of females circumference values had a obviously linear decrease with the increase of age of Gejia. Except waist circumference, abdominal circumference, hip circumference, other indexes have statistically significant differences in gender. (4) In addition to faciat skinfold、Triceps skinfold and Biceps skinfold of female, other indexes have negative correlation with age related. Six skinfold of male and subscapular skinfold、suprailiac skinfold of female, indexes have statistically significant differences in age groups.(5) The mean somatotype values of the male and female are 3.44-4.75-2.08 and 4.86-4.65-1.32 respectively,The males of Gejia are Endomorphic Mesomorph category,and females body mainly in partial Endomorph-Mesomorph size, statistically significant differences in age groups.(6)Population genetics of Gejia except tongue rolling,arm folding, eyefold of the upper eyelid, hair types, other indexes have no statistically significant differences in gender. Tongue rolling-tongue twisting, tongue folding-poingted tongue, hand clasping-hand edness, hand edness-leg folding, hand edness-foot preference, arm folding-foot preference, leg folding-foot preference, leg folding-eye preference, mongoloid fold-front tooth type, mongoloid fold-nostril form, front tooth type-nasal profile, front tooth type-hair form, nasal profile-nostril of 13 pairs of indexes correlation. (7) The physical characteristics of Gejia is close to the South minorities of China, has characteristics of types of South Asia ethnic groups;Likewise population genetic characteristics of Gejia were trend to South Asia ethnic groups, have differences with Miao around it.
