Seismic data acquisition system is widely used in petroleum exploration, securitymonitoring, military and other fields, but the conventional wired seismic data acquisitionsystem spend a lot of time and manpower in arranging them and checking the connection. Inaddition, it occasionally can not collect the seismic data in the harsh environment. Since thewired seismic data acquisition existing problems in the practical application, this paperproposed a design of seismic source detect wireless data acquisition system. The acquisitionunit has a GPS module. It can record the coordinate information of acquisition unit andsynchronously start the whole network acquitsiton.The data transmission between the uppercompter and the acquisition unit selects wireless transmission.Acordding to the arrival time,waveform and other parameters of vibration signal, we can analysis the source and finds itslocation.According to the system design requirements, this article described satellite signal,ranging and positioning principle and measurement error of the GPS system. It also introducedthe structure and its communication principle of ZigBee network and analysed operation modeand transmission mode of XBEE PRO FR module.At last, the overall system design wascompleted. The system consists of two parts, a communication control center and wireless dataacquisition unit.Communication control center mainly to complete the design of UART toUSB interface, in order to realize communication connection between the upper computer andthe wireless module. The wireless data acquisition unit realized the synchronous acquisition ofseismic signal, processing data and uploading. Data acquisition unit took the C8051F020MCU as the master controle unit and designed the MCU smallest system, seismic wave dataacquisition circuit, power management circuit, and interface circuit of MCU and GPS module,wireless module. The part of software using C language programmed the procedure of dataacquisition, receiving GPS data and wireless communication. The system realized that uppercomputer remote control the wireless data acquisition unit.After completing the system design, the wireless data acquisition system was tested. Theacquisition system is working properly. The upper computer can remote control the system tocomplete some operation, such as uploading GPS data, quering status, data collection anduploading.In addition, experiment has been carried on to test the synchronous of several wireless data acquisition system. Experiment has proved that multiple acquisition systems canachieve high-precision synchronous acquisition.
