Designing And Implementing Logging Data Processing And Interpretation Sotfware System

With progressive exploration of oil and gas, exploitations gradually becomemore difficult, and its geological knowledge is also gradually complicated. At thesame time, the complexity of processing and interpretation of log data isincreasing, with the role of software becomes more important. Processing andinterpretation techniques need a software as a supporter. Forming a set ofapplicable software can turn technology into productive forces for exploration anddevelopment, which can also make technology become physical presence.In this paper, proceeding from the basic needs of logging data processing andinterpretation, the modern software engineering thinking and techniques ofobject-oriented are introduced to design a set of software platform, whosefunctions involve data management and operation, data format decoding andconversion, results output, and data preprocessing utility mount and so on. For thedesign of underlying data structure, we take full account of the needs of imaginglog data processing and interpretation, so it applies to large-volume data storageand read/write; As for the data format decoding and conversion module, accordingto variable formats and different structures of logging data, by the way of "quickload, dynamic recognition", the mainstream formats of logging data are decodedand converted successfully; in accordance with the requirements of result plots,the result output module has the feature of "what you see is what you get", amulti-level mapping system is achieved by means of view segmentation, whichdisplay hierarchical views of map heads, scale heads, curves and result tables andso on; application hooks are provided for secondary development, whereresearchers can mount their own processing modules.At last, the development of log processing software platform are analyzedand discussed.
