Research On Bulk Grain’s Virtual Logistics Distribution

Virtual logistics is the effective organization form of the integration of logistics resources. With the new trend of mass, internationalization and containerization of modern bulk grain logistics, virtualization of grain logistics distribution has become the inevitable development trend. Based on the new situation of the development of modern grain logistics, this thesis will analyze and research on bulk grain’s virtual logistics distribution.Firstly, this thesis introduces the related theory and mathematical model of bulk grain’s virtual logistics distribution.Secondly, this thesis analyzes the service object, business process and functional requirements of information platform of bulk grain’s virtual logistics distribution, and then designs and constructs the hierarchical structure, function modular and the overall operation mechanism of information platform of bulk grain’s virtual logistics distribution based on the technology of Web Services.Then, using DEMATEL method based on the grey theory, this thesis establishes the mathematical model of core competence identification modular which is included in the information platform of bulk grain’s virtual logistics distribution. We choose the shipping carrier as an example for analyzing the model. We have got that the most core competence of the shipping carrier is "the carrier’s reputation in the industry". In addition, "the geographical distribution coverage" and "cooperation between the carrier and the customer" are also core competence.Finally, we develop the mathematical model of alliance partner selection modular which is included in the information platform of bulk grain’s virtual logistics distribution. This mathematical model uses the AHP analytic mathematical model with corresponding example analysis.
