Being one of the most central subjects, concerned about the fluid and heat and mass transfer, liquid atomization has got more and more attentions and related researches. It’s common to find that the atomization is not only employed in some fields such as the energy and power-related and the agricultural and chemical industry, but also can be found in the industry of medicines. When to trace the antecedents, there is no deny that spray nozzle which plays an important role in that process is absolutely indispensable, and has been proverbially used in such fields like the liquid fuel combustion, spray cooling, and spray dust-suppression even the irrigation of agriculture and forestry and medical spray, etc. The significance of the atomization goes without any proverb. The emphasis of this paper was focused on the systematic and thorough analysis on a certain type of nozzle. By means of analyzing the structures of the nozzle, firstly it’s necessary to revising its detail structures in proportion 1:1, and then drawn the parts diagram and the structure diagram of three-dimensional by using related graphics software. Finally getting the model meshed by related software when had done the realistically simplification about the route of two phase drift and constructed the three-dimensional model of the organization.By the application of CFD method, this paper conducted a numerical simulation about the spray nozzle, which full filled by air and liquid water, in three different initial conditions. The simulation is immensely complex which was separated into two steps, including the process of steady simulation of continuous phases and the process of transient simulation of discrete phase. Through a multifaceted coupling-calculation, it got the spray flow field formed by numerous droplets atomized by this nozzle. And according to the results, this paper has been done the precipitate about the influence brought by initial condition. And then in order to satisfying the actual requirements, it had been modified the origin structure by altering its inner and outside conformations, in the same time, approached the similar numerical simulation under one of the three initial conditions mentioned above. From this, it got the features of the spray flow field that the modified nozzle possessed. It’s obvious that there has some effective improvement both in the size and distribution of the droplets’Mean Sauter Diameter and the spray angle of it. All of these have provided the basis for the further investigation.
