| This article takes shandong yantai offshore sea as the research object.. For this sea area condition is complex and the characteristics is various, selected laizhou port, Laizhou offshore sea, Luanjiakou offshore, southern offshore of Changmiao island, yantai west port offshore, yantai zhifu island offshore, concerning three kinds of dumping areas for dredged materials of Yantai port and Yantai eastern offshore as the research object, During June 2008 to December 2013, collected eighty stance in these typical area of ocean surface sediment samples.Using the method of laser particle size for the measurement, analyses and calculation for the particle size of Marine sediment samples, and having the research based on the data, discussed the function of sedimentation of Yantai offshore. The main conclusion as following:1, Yantai offshore surface sediments are mainly made up of sand, chiltern silt, silt and silty sand, accompanied by a handful of clay and clayey silt.2, The sorting of most of the samples is poor and even poorer, it means that water power is not so strong and the surface sediment particle size is various in Yantai offshore.3, The average particle size of sediment is lower from offshore to the far shore and has the tend of the tapering from the west to the east in Yantai surrouding waters.4, In these nine areas, most of the average particle size distribution is uniformity except the Zhifu island offshore and Changdaomiao island. For the Zhifu island offshore and Changdaomiao island Analysis shows that the reason of the case is because of the bohai sea concerned in the circulation. Therefor, when studing or monitoring the chemical pollutant index of the sea area,the effect of the suspended and the adsorption of the sedimenta should be considered.5, Yantai offshore is in the middle of the yellow sea and bohai sea border, because of the circulation of bohai sea of yellow sea, the direction of sediment distribution is the very same as ocean current direction. |
