There are many methods for regional magnetic data analysis.The wavelet analysis method developed in recent years has achieved good results in the field of magnetic prospecting application of the local area field separations.gravity and magnetic data from arbitrary 2.5D polygon cross-section horizontal cylinder with human-machine interactive inversion method and physical property inversion method can explain the anomaly qualitatively and quantitatively in the inversion of gravity and magnetic profile. Using the new prospecting idea and method for geophysical prospecting technology to perform precise processing and interpretation of information are the development trend of magnetic exploration.The key areas of Ningxia metallic ore explorations can generally obtain detailed magnetic and geological data. However, either the analysis is relatively not thorough or the method is relatively inflexible.Referring to the problems above, this paper mainly focuses on the following ideas:1. Discuss the wavelet analysis method, mainly for the principle of wavelet transform, multi-scale analysis and model test.Then,discuss the man-machine interactive inversion method, mainly for arbitrary 2.5D polygon cross-section horizontal cylinder with human-machine interactive inversion method, by making test on the method above. At last, we’ve discussed the principle of physical properties inversion method, and made test on it by building a theoretical models.2. Based on the data of magnetic, gravity and electrical method in some areas of Ningxia, with the wavelet analysis method and each inversion method, to perform wavelet analysis on southwest Huashan and other regions to extract different order of anomalous characteristics, combining with the geological data, delineate regional ore prospecting area or the next focus of the work area. We further study and discuss the geophysical geochemical ore-prospecting criteria of metallic ore prospect areas, metallic ore prospect areas from North mountain of Weining to Xiangshan and from Western Huashan to Southern Huashan, and Yueliangshan, through methods as 2.5D inversion, to perform inversion analysis on the gravity and magnetic data in the areas from northern mountain of Weining to Xiangshan, and Yueliangshan, to qualitatively and semi-quantitatively analyze the factors like the depth of abnormal body, of the two areas above.
