As a new type of clean and renewable energy, The rational exploitation and utilization of geothermal resources has positive significance to the society, the environment and the economy. At present, the Sanhe region’s geothermal situation is still lack of the overall systematic evaluation. In this paper, firstly figure out the geothermal geological conditions, hydrogeological conditions and the characteristics of the geothermal field in Sanhe, then combine the geothermal well data, drilling data etc to delineate the geothermal anomaly area.At the last, divide geothermal field and geothermal potential area and evaluate the hot water resources of geothermal field.Sanhe is located in the core of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. Through the comprehensive geological surveying research of the geothermal geological condition and the underground hot water resources of Sanhe, thearticle makes the conclusion that Sanhe is in the transition region of the Hebei plain upper mantle upheaval and the deep tectonic variation area,Yanshan and Taihang. With the better condition of deep underground heat source and the 3km thickness Ca-Mg carbonate thermal aquifer storage,Wumishan Group of the Jixian System and the thicker heat reservoir cap from Q to Qn.So,Sanhe possesses the better geothermal geological condition.Divide a geothermal field in Yanjiao, tnree A prospective area,,two B prospective area,, oneC prospective area. Depth of water table is 860-3200 m and the water temperature is 40-62 of Geothermal reservoir in the Yanjiao geothermal field. Preliminary estimates that the annual recoverable resources of geothermal water is 1282 x 104m3/y.This research provide feasible suggestions for the sustainable development and utilization of geothermal energy in Sanhe.
