| Since the Chinese open policy as well as the technology power strategy grows deeply in China and especially in scientific community, there are plenty of proposals and constructions of the large research infrastructures from the level of national scientific development strategy reports. It’s urgent and necessary to discover the methods of how to manipulate those large scientific projects systematically from cost and schedule perspectives.In this thesis the author summarizes the problems and current status that existed in the cost and schedule integration management of Beijing Electron and Positron Collider (BEPCII) according to the features of the cost and schedule integration management of large research infrastructure such as large investment and fixed schedule, one-flow investment source as well as fixed term, combining the specific situations and the actual facts of BEPCII upon cost and schedule integration. In the thesis, the author makes applications of earned value in coherent with the features of features of the cost and schedule integration management of BEPCII, which achieves to analyze the trends of deviation and performance on cost and schedule managements by the cost and schedule trends other than the cost and schedule on a certain single time point.The thesis adapts the method of improved earned value into BEPCII and reaches to the conclusion on the features of the project management on large research infrastructure based on earned value. In addition, BEPCII and other large research infrastructures share many similarities. Moreover, the features of most large research infrastructures adapt to use earned value. The case study of BEPCII with earned value provides a positive impact on the cost and schedule project managements of other large research facilities. |
