In the late 1980 s,genetically modified plants in the United States.Since then,the genetically modified technology has developed rapidly.The application of genetically modified technology in agriculture,so that mankind has found a new way to resolve the food crisis,but also to control the deterioration of the environment and other issues to indicate the direction.Genetically modified technology is superior to the traditional technology,it is not only to achieve the rapid development of new varieties of crops,but also to expand the scope of the development of new crop varieties.There is no scientific conclusion about the safe of genetically modified organisms.The rurrent level of science and technology is not able to confirm the presence of potential dangers of genitically modified agricultural products,with the rapid development of global economic integration,security issues related to the genetically nodified agricultural products gradually with the trade and economic,National secrtity and national interests linked to,causing the widespread concern of the international community.In the recent years,all countries in the world to the potentical risk of genetically modified food,as well as the national conditions of the country as the basis for the development of relevant safety regulations.And overall,the legal issues of genetically modified agricultural products involved mainly food safety,environment safety and international trade friction and other.Relevant legislation on the safety of genetically modified agricultural products is the focus of this paper.China’s current laws and regulations in terms of genetically modified agricultural products is not perfect,the contents of the existing laws and regulations are not specific enough,it is difficult to meet the public expectation for guarantee the safety of genetically nodified products,and this is the significance of this paper where.In this paper,the concept of genetically nodified agricultural profucts as the starting point,from four aspects of a comprehensive development.The first describes the transgenic technology and related products in the development of our country,and analyzes the sagety problems of genetically modified agricultural products itself may be potentical;two,the relevant legislation of the foreign agricultural profucts safety were reviewed,summarized in the specification of genetically modified agricultural products business abroad and management mode;three summing up the relevant plicies,in terms of genetically modified agricultural products and vegulations of our country and agricultural products safety management measures,and points out that our country in the legislation of the shortcomings of genetically modified agricultural products;four is to put forward to abroad in terms of genetically modified agricultural products safety legislation for reference,and combining the develppment status of transgenic China’s agricultural products,establish and perfect the legislation system of our country in the aspects of genetically nodified agricultural products,to provide legal protection for the application and promotion of new technology.
