In yunnan province,northeast yunnan, black rock series of the lower Cambrian are widely distributed, in which enrich nickel, molybdenum, and other metal minerals. In order to provide services for nickel molybdenum polymetallic deposit prospecting prospect forecast, I researched the sedimentary facies and sequence stratigraphic characteristics of the Cambrian black rock series in this paper, and had achieved the following understanding: 1. According to the study about the rock association,sedimentary structure, biological disturbance of more drilling and the measured profile,the Cambrian black rock series of the study area is divided into two sedimentary facies, three sedimentary subfacies, two sedimentary microfacies.2. Applying the theories and methods of different hierarchical base-level cycles in high resolution sequence stratigraphy, ε1qs of the study area is divided into one long-term base-level cycles, three medium-term base-level cycles,and fourteen short-term base-level cycles. Based on the classification of base-level cycles of more drilling and the measured profile, the delicate small layer division and contrast are accomplished and then the high-resolution sequence stratigraphic frameworks of ?1qs are established in northeast yunnan.3. Northeast yunnan, in the black rock series of the lower Cambrian, nickel molybdenum polymetallic deposit has the layer controled, phase controled characteristics significantly.Chiungchussi formation Shiyantou member of the lower Cambrian is the purpose of ore layer,which contains two nickel molybdenum polymetallic deposits locating in the Transgressive Systems Tract of high resolution sequence stratigraphy.4. The sedimentary environment of mineral formation mainly is low-energy,oxygen reduction environment of shallow sea bottom which riches in organic matter.
