The research of geoscience mostly needs long-term monitoring data.The long-term monitoring data is a valuable information,which has great significance to the long-term research of climate changing and engineering measures of long-term effects.But because of there is no system for information and data to be saved and retrieved uniformly,a large amount of accumulated monitoring data can not play an excellent effect. Previously most field observation system belonged to each project team which completed the choose of observation point,the construction of observatory、the remote transmission and the construction of the system with data receiving 、saving and analyzing. The inconsistences of construction time, observation content, data representation and analytical method lead to poor reusability of data, which waste the resources of field observation data.According to the Problems and needs of field monitoring systems, Paper designs a overall program of Joint Observation System,Combined with the project named "Alpine Cloud" of Chinese Academy of Sciences in Cold and Arid. Joint Observation System is a platform for field monitoring data of permafrost to be stored, managed and published uniformly.This platform uses flat database structure completing the transformation and storage of monitoring and related data and making all kinds of information and data can be saved, which is beneficial for data and information mining at depth through the technology of big data. Joint Observation System completes the interaction of interface and database, with easy access to a variety of users’platforms based on B/S architecture. The system can be able to saved the geological observation data uniformly to make sure the integrity of the data and can be able to publish the data with unified format according to the demand of geoscientific research so as to make the research more convenient. Considering the diversity of the data format and the characteristic of the nodes structure, this paper has completed the design of database with description of table structure in detail. This paper focuses on the design and implementation of the virtual sensor of parameter transformation and the virtual sensor of space. The virtual sensor of parameter transformation has transformed the monitoring values to observation values with its design, configuring and resolving,converting the NTC thermal resistance to the corresponding temperature values. The virtual sensor of space based on the relationship between temperature and depth can calculate the non-existent temperature or the virtual observed temperature which cannot be measured directly.Joint Observation System has been deployed on the server of our school and the data center of Chinese Academy of Sciences in Cold and Arid.The operation of half year show that the system is designed reasonably with the stable operation and the virtual sensors is operated conveniently with calculating precisely.
