Tungsten is an important strategic metal in the world. China accounts for more than 60 percent of the world’s tungsten reserves, occupies the first in the world. Tungsten is usually divided into wolframite, scheelite and Scheelite-Wolframite mixed concentrates. Tungsten in Hubei, Jiangxi, Fujian, Guangxi, Henan, Anhui, Gansu, Guangdong and Yunnan provinces (regions) in the proved up is accounting for more than 80% of the country. Chinese Tungsten was dominated by scheelite, about 3 million tons, which was accounts for more than 60% of the country. The distribution of Chinese tungsten resources is very inhomogenous, scheelite resources in China also have these characteristics: many lean ore, few rich ore and difficult mill run. so the main of Tungsten recovery is mainly on wolframite.. Due to the degree of industrialization with the rapid economic development. surface of the mineral resources are decreasing, the poor quality of Scheelite and the quality of old tungsten mine is declined sharply, prospecting is one of the major difficulties in resources explorationThis research based on mentor’s project named "Multi-information prospecting prediction of Guanfang, Wenshan, YunNan province". Combined Bozhushan granite exposed, hidden form and the geological conditions, metallogenic background of Guanfang, used 3DMine software Modeling geological body in this area and done the concealed orebody prediction in Edge and deep part of research area.According to the related information, In Bozhushan and the surrounding area, three dimensional ore finding prediction research is still blank. The author has 3D modeled the Bozhushan geophysical anomaly, form of Bozhushan granite, and studied. Under the premise of geological characteristic of Guanfang, the writer 3D modeled the geologic body of this area and done the ore finding prediction research. The way the author used in this research area is the first time.First, done the collection, data selection and data integration of related geological data in research area. The data connection was analyzed conscientiously.Second, through geophysical anomaly data and related literature, using the 3D modeling software.3D geological model of Bozhushan geophysical anomaly. According to the topography and geomorphy, previous data, the granite which is Outcrop and exposed by surrounding mining area and other information, we have already 3D modeling the form of Bozhushan granite.Third, using the 3D cube prospecting, delimitated the Engineering verification area’s three-dimensional coordinates and predicted metal quantity of 708.844 tons.Fourth, Put the information prospecting signs into the 3D cube and calculated them, then, the future prospecting area of Guanfang had been delineated.Fifth, the key metallogenic areas of study area’s delimitating revealed that the main strata, the skarn, the relationship between and the granite, the main controlling factors and the number of the ore bodies which are not predicted.In this paper, the author has done the sufficient collection and study in the geological background of the study area,3D modeled the research area and stereoscopic visualization. By Three-dimensional prospecting model, the target prediction of the study area has been delineated and part of the conclusion has been verified.
