Nanyangtian mining area is located in the southwest margin of South China plate and the east of Laojunshan polymetallic area in southeastern Yunnan Province.In order to further explore the mineral resources and expand the reserves in the mining area,deep and marginal resources in the mining area,deep and marginal prospecting has become an urgent problem to be solved.In this paper,the stratum lithology,magmatic rock,structure and other ore-controlling factors in Nanyangtian mining area are studied.With the help of 3D geological modeling software,the geological body model and orebody model are established.The ore-prospecting prediction is made by using the weight of evidence method,and verified by the information method,and the prospecting target area is screened,delineated and evaluated.The following achievements and understandings have been made :1.The relevant data of the previous prospecting projects in Nanyangtian mining area are integrated,and the original geological database of prospecting project in Nanyangtian mining area is created.The 3D geological model of Nanyangtian mining area is constructed,including the formation,structure,rock body and ore body,which can cut the geological section in any direction.2.The ore bodies in the mining area occur in layers and controlled by the Nanyangtian formation.The main host rocks are carbonate rocks and skarn formed by metamorphism.The Nanwenhe series granite and Dulong super unit granite in the mining area are rich in W,Sn and other ore-forming matericals,which provide the ore.forming material source and themal dynamic conditions.3.The analysis of the weights of evidence and information method shows: strata control the formation of ore bodies in this area,the near EW-to-structure has a controlling effect on the ore body at 200-800 m,spotted veins have the effect of superimposing and riching on mineral bodies in the range of 200-550 m.4.On the basis of the block model,this paper uses the weight of evidence method to carry out prospecting prediction,verified by information method,and delineates three target areas of A,B and C,of which class a target area has guiding significance for the next step of mineral exploration.
