In logging operations, logging depth of oil wells is one of the most important parameters, and has a pivotal role to the division of geological layers and determination the oil layers. The process that using standard wells method makes logging cable depth calibration is complexity, low efficiency, high cost and lack of accuracy, which cannot meet the actual production needs. In order to overcome the shortcomings of the standard method, roller simulates the standard well that calibrates logging cable depth mark on the ground. This paper developed a set of high-precision tension system that analogs logging cable tension in the standard wells and control system, which is simulation system of tension for logging cable depth calibration. To ensure simulation system of tension achieves accurately the design requirements, so the research is imperativeFirstly, this paper analyzes logging cable force in standard wells with ignoring the less impact and uncertainty factors, and results mathematical model of the cable force. Based on mechanical model, this paper verifies the feasibility of simulation system of tension on the ground and proposes functional requirements of simulation system.Secondly, simulation system of tension is divided from the function and structure, to define clearly function and structure of the tensioning wheel and load simulation system. Then paper analyzes the working principle and feasibility of each part.Finally, this paper analyzes precision of the tension simulation system, identifies error sources that affect the accuracy of the tension simulation system. And this paper analyzes the impact of each error source to the whole tension simulation system, identifies the larger factors, and determines the accuracy of the entire system. The most influential source of error is proportional valve on accuracy. Improvement program is parallel with the series of proportional valve. And paper designs to parallel programs and control processes of proportional valve. Paper takes appropriate measures to cope the pressure shock to reduce the impact on simulation system.
