Ocean is a key field in China’s development during the new century. Some Chinese marine-related departments and academics have been investigating deeply on marine. The development of marine is restricted by marine information dispersion and different standard of managing and processing marine information caused by the limitations of institutions, policies, technologies and the independence of each marine-related department. So in this thesis, we will focus on how to manage, storage and share massive, varied and heterogeneous marine data in an effective and safe way. In a “Digital Globe” era, Chinese scientist firstly proposes “Digital Ocean”, which is now an important part in Chinese information construction. The preliminary concept of building marine data sharing is to connect marine-related departments and organizations, unify the standard, build database and data interaction platform, and design a web system with features of marine data visualization, marine data sharing and marine data statistics and analysis.Based on the database built in the basic framework of digital marine, this thesis mainly talks about the categories and formats of marine data, focuses on how to build an effective and efficient marine information integration method and technology, mainly studies the API development of the three-dimensional sphere Software Skyline, and the purpose is marine data sharing. According to the research result, we will study on how to build “Digital Marine Application Services” system based on the B/S structure.The main work of this thesis:1)Studying the categories and contents of marine dataIn this thesis, we discourse on the marine data classification by its categories in detail, further divide the data with its categories, and expound the content of relating data and the data amount.2)Studying the marine data integration technologyWe minutely study the integration method of different marine data formats at the three three-dimensional sphere, such as vector, raster, text, multimedia and oblique photography. We also do some basic introduction on the application of SFS, WMS, WFS and Arc GIS Server on marine data integration.3)Studying data processing method based on Web ServiceTo meet the requests like the interoperability of real-time data, using the Internet to publishing data and communicate and realizing the compatibility of cross platform, we probe into the basic principle of Web Service technology and methods like how it publishes and integrates marine data under a Web environment. We also write a Web Service API, providing developers a functional interface to retrieve real-time data online, detect and statistic marine information, use marine information share service and visualization service. We also provide node users the Web Service API which could be easily transferred.4)Studying data secure sharing based on virtual technologyThere are two traditional way to share information; one is to copy it, but nowadays, information security is so important that this method is no longer applicable. The other one is to offer the authorization, allow the demanders to use it at the location of the data owner. This method, to a certain degree, could ensure the security of data, but with low convenience. On the premise of virtual technology, we minutely investigate the application and calculation of the data that is sent to virtual machine and the share form of the data product made.5)Building digital marine application services system based on B/S structureAccording to the research result above, we develop a new sphere system based on Web structure by using the three-dimensional sphere platform Skyline, Java Script and C# language. The new system mainly emphasizes on visualization application and sharing service, and includes some functions like data query and retrieval, statistics and analysis and node interaction.
