Graphene is an elemental carbon, which is made of by hexagonal lattice of carbon atoms arranged neatly, sp2 hybridized carbon atoms formed by a two-dimensional space infinite extension of the base surface, is the 2D structure of the materials, and is proved to be the world’s thinnest and hardest substance. Graphene is the building of other dimensions of the basic unit of carbonaceous materials, can be turned into zero-dimensional fullerenes, curled into a one-dimensional carbon nanotubes, and can also be superimposed for the three-dimensional graphite. Theπbond in the large graphene structure made the peculiar thermal, mechanical and electrical properties of many properties. The excellent performance leaded to a great concern.Graphene oxide is a derivative of graphene, also known as functional graphene, its structure much the same as graphene, only the base surface and the edge of graphene with some functional. In the graphene oxide has the number of functional groups, such as epoxy, hydroxyl, carboxyl, etc. Epoxy and hydroxyl groups are mainly located on the surface of graphene, but mainly for the carboxyl edge of graphene, these functional groups can make graphene oxide well disperse into the water, and the presence of these oxygen-containing functional groups also make the different layers of the functional role of rejection between groups, and can increase the compatibility of the polymer, so that some polar organic molecules or polymers can be easily formed with the oxidized graphene nanocomposites.In this paper, graphite oxide was prepared by hummers method, and after the chemical peel, the totally exfoliated graphene oxide was prepared. Several silane were used to modify graphene oxide, and characterized the obtained nanocomposites. The main tasks are as follows:(1) Graphite oxide are prepared by Hummer Methods using natural graphite,and then were prepared to graphene oxide by chemical peel;(2) The unmodified graphene oxide was compound with silane to obtain silane/ graphene oxide nanocomposites;(3) The nanocomposites were characterized by IR, TEM, DSC, TG, XRD and mechanical properties, researching the performance of the graphene oxide modified by silane.The results show that the nanocomposites has good dispersion and can get paper in the Buchner funnel, the layer of composite distance also increases, and its mechanical properties are better than pure graphene oxide.
