Oil sludge treatment is the urgent problems at home and abroad. There are a lot of pyrolysis technology researches on oil sludge, while pyrolysis technology of oil sludge whcih has the merits of low secondary pollution, complete innocuity and high reusability causes experts’attention. However, oil sludge produced during storage and transportation, whose features are high moisture, low ash content, high volatility, has the high feasibility of oil recycling by pyrolysis. The emphasis of this study is doing research on this oil sludge combining through experiments and theories.Firstly, the research of product characteristics and weightless features is base on the thermogravimetric infrared analyzer, in air, nitrogen, carbon dioxide three atmospheres. The most weightlessness appears in the air atmosphere, for combustion reaction, while carbon dioxide follows next, where gasification reaction occurs, and the least weightlessness happens in nitrogen, as prolysis reaction. In the same atmosphere, the greater the heating rate gets, the more lag in temperature will be. The activation energy of oil sludge is analyzed by differential method and the distributed activation energy model, found that activation energy in carbon dioxide atmosphere is least. Distributed activation energy mode is better than differential method, which can better description of the distribution of the activation energy.Secondly, the pyrolysis of oil sludge is analyzed in tubular resistance furnace in carbon dioxide and nitrogen. The influence of temperature is investigated by analyzing products of gas, liquid and slag. The optimum temperature of pyrolysis of oil sludge in carbon dioxide is450℃, while this in the nitrogen atmosphere is500℃. The product of oil in optimum temperature in carbon dioxide atmosphere is more than in nitrogen. In the same temperature, the residue of specific surface area and hole volume in carbon dioxide is smaller than in nitrogen. The results shows the slag in carbon dioxide is density slag, while in nitrogen is thin wall slag. Finally, the heat transfer process is simulated by FLUENT for providing theoretical guidance. The experiment set in600C is divided into three stages to collect condensed liquid. In the first phase, the water is collected, while low alkanes is gotten most in second phase, However, in third phase,25%of condensed liquid is alcohol, and the alkanes of molecular weight greater than C15are gotten most. The condensate oil can be collected27.32%from oil sludge of the amount, and the residues have high calorific value.
