In modern times, the scientific approach of designing the sports apparel is a world trend in the fields of sports sector, Nowadays, the sports competition, which is not only a physical competition, but also a science and technology competition in all countries, especially for the technique in developing the new materials. In the international competitions, sports apparel plays a very important role in training and competition for athletes, and it also plays more and more increasingly important roles in the process of developed athletes’potential.As we all known, cycling is one of the Olympic Games, as the main cycling clothing of the sports, the material and structure of riding pants will not only affect the achievements of athletes, but also contribute to developing their own potential,so as to get the purpose of improving their technical levels in great extent. Environmentally responsive gel is a kind of hydrogel which can response to the external stimulus, Those external stimulus can be considered as temperature, pH, pressure, electromagnetic fields, salt, light, chemical substances and others In order to make apparels obtain the excellent performance of the hydrogel. We can introduce environmentally responsive hydrogels into riding pants as development areas in appropriate ways In the thesis, it preliminary studied the synthesis of pressure-sensitive hydrogel and its application in riding pants.Firstly, this paper subjective analysis the comfort about women’s riding pants. Through the questionnaire, it concludes that the body parts which come into contact with riding pants and easying sweating are waist, hip, the front side of thigh and the rear side of thigh, the maximum sweating part is hip. In the stages of riding exercise, there is strong correlation between people’s sense of pressure, restraint, prickle, hot and humid with overall comfort. And after the future analysis on the indicators of comfort, it finds the key elements that affecting comfort in the process of cycling are as follows:The first factor is apparel tightness factor. The second one is performance factor on apparel fabrics. The pressure sense from small to large on the testing parts are arranged as posterior leg<the back side of thigh<the front.Secondly, testing the body parts for those who wear the regular riding pants through ELF stress test system, that the pressure of the parts of conner with. The pressure value from small to large on various testing parts are arranged as posterior leg <the front side of leg<the rear side of thigh<the front side of thigh<knee<waist <hips, The pressure in Hip is the largest, and it is much larger than the other parts, it can be reached about4×104Pa;The thesis analyses the impacts of various experimental factors on the synthesis gel properties of hydrogels through the approach of Inversing suspension synthesis of pressure-sensitive hydrogel, and characterize them by infrared spectroscopy and electron microscopy, than got the conclusion of optimum parameters for synthetize of pressure sensitive hydrogel P (NIPA-co-SA):those parameters can be described as follows:(1) when the reaction temperature is20℃, the reaction time is4hours.(2) when the dispersion medium and dispersant is cyclohexane and span20, oil-water ratio is4:1, and the dispersant accounted oil0.96%.(3) The stirring speed is320rpm;(4) The total monomer concentration is14%.(5) The amount of crosslinking agent is4%.(6) The co-monomer SA’s ratio is8%.(7) The amount of initiator is0.5%. And got the conclusion of the pressure sensitivity that the granular P(NIPA-co-SA) copolymer hydrogels in0.9%NaCl solution, it concludes that:when the absolute pressure up to35kpa, the hydrogel will swell rapidly; when the absolute pressure is less than35kpa, the hydrogel will retreat quickly. This sensitivity is suitable for high-pressure zone of riding pants hip, and its pressure is about40kpa.Finally, the paper preliminary researches on the application of pressure sensitive hydrogel in riding pants pad. That is depositing the gel material on the cotton fabric through the approach of physical deposition, and get the gel material fabric, then analysing the characteristics of the gel material fabric, it concludes that there is obvious pressure sensitivity in the gel material fabric, and its hygroscopicity is good.The more the deposition rate increases, the higher the moisture absorption of gel material fabric increases, and the best deposition rate is13.8%, At this time, the moisture regain is32.8%, the ventilation rate is27.6mL/(cm2·s), and the moisture absorption and permeability will be much better, This approach of using the gel material fabric in riding pants can satisfy the athletes’comfortable requests. Finally, designing the gel core material of the pants pad in women’s riding pantsIn this thesis, the pants pad of synthetic pressure sensitive hydrogel can satisfy people’s overall comfort requirements in riding in a certain extent, and there is a certain applying value. The researches on the ideas and approaches of this topic will also provide a certain reference value in the application of the gel material in other textile and apparel.
