According to the relevant requirements of China GB13223-2011"thermal powerplant air pollutant emission standards", higher requirements of environmentalprotection were put forward for the constructing and constructed thermal powergenerating units. The traditional process of circulating fluidized bed boilerdesulfurization and denitrification can’t meet the new requirements of environmentalprotection, so some transformation should be applied to process.In this paper, some study and research on the flue gas dust removal anddesulfurization, denitration technology have been done for the3*160t/h CFB boiler ofthe annual output of400000tons of methanol project of Cathay Pacific Power Plant.The traditional limestone desulfurization in furnace combined with limedesulfurization in desulfurization tower was applied. At the same time, the urea SNCRmethod and COA method in denitrification tower were combined to denitrificationprocess. The original parameters of technical performance requirements, investmentand operation cost estimation were analyzed, a technological scheme suitable formedium and small sized circulating fluidized bed boiler were selected and designed...The double combined process raised in the research does not produce adverseeffects on each other,. The operation is safe and stable. It can meet new environmentalstandards. And it can save the cost of investment and operation. All the results provethat it is a good choice for the medium and small thermal power plant circulatingfluidized bed boiler.
