Multi-stage planetary transmission system is a nonlinear complex mechanicalsystem with multiple degrees of freedom, more clearance, variable parameter and othercharacteristics. The elastic deformation of gear meshing tooth, time-varying meshingstiffness, gear backlash, manufacturing error, bearing clearance and tooth surfacefriction all have a great influence on the dynamic performance of gear system. Theeffect of multi-factor coupling makes the multi-stage planetary gear transmissionsystem possess the complex vibration characteristics, and it’s not only affects thestability and security of the reducer running, reduces the working life of the gearreducer, but also leads the resulting noise radiating the outer space, forming the noisepollution and affecting the physical and mental health of the staff.This paper with the support of the National Science and Technology SupportProject (Project Number:2013BAF01B05), taking a hoist two-stage planetary gearreducer as the research object, has carried out a study on dynamic characteristics ofmulti-stage planetary gear reducer and has provided a certain theoretical foundation andvaluable reference for weight reduction, vibration reduction and noise reductionoptimization of the large multi-stage planetary reducer.Firstly, by discussing the multistage involutes planetary gear reducerdynamic incentive in terms of theory, this paper analyzes the reducer vibrationcharacteristics which influenced by time-varying meshing stiffness, geometriceccentricity error, the quality of eccentric error and tooth surface friction.Aiming at the problem of the difficulty to identify a large gear box inherentcharacteristics and according to the multi-level involuteplanetary gear reducer partswork form, using Lanczos and contact glued theory, this paper has made the modalanalysis on the gear transmission system and the box of the hoist reducer and has gotthe natural frequency and modal vibration mode of the hoist two-stage planetaryreducer.Secondly, taking a hoist two-stage planetary gear reducer as the research object,this paper has established the hoist reducer planetary gear train-bearing-box3D contactnonlinear dynamic finite element analysis model of box. Using dynamic explicitalgorithm, this paper has achieved reducer of meshing impact dynamics simulation andhas got the dynamic meshing parts contact state, with the meshing position changed and the vibration characteristics of the gear box. The research results provide a reference forvibration reduction, noise reduction and reliability design of the reducer.The paper also has studied the dynamic characteristics of the hoist multi-stageplanetary reducer under with different condition and geometric eccentric error and theinfluence of the sun wheel floating on the dynamic characteristics of gear reducerIn the end, in order to learn more about the vibration and noise characteristic of thehoist two-stage planetary reducer, the experimental study of vibration and noise formine hoist reducer under different working conditions was done in this paper. Andcompared with the finite element calculation results, the correctness of the finiteelement model is verified.
