With the in-depth development of oil-field, various difficult reserves (high viscosity oil well, sand well) were developed step by step to satisfy the needs, and new requirement has been asked to form a new technology of oil extraction. The E1ectric Submersible Progressing Cavity Pumping system (ESPCPs) is put forward in such background. It shows incomparable advantages in the application of slant wells, horizontal wells and directional wells whose oil is high viscous and has sand. Because of the characteristic such as low cost, this system has an important meaning in lower the oil-field development investment and expense of running it. Oil-submersible planetary gear reducer is an important transmission part of ESPCPs. It must continuously work for long time in the condition of high temperature and huge pressure.This thesis analyzes the basic parameter, spot usage and experiments of domestic and international current oil-submersible reducer. Base on the currently compatible design in well, a new idea is proposed, that is K-H-V involute planetary gear transmission with small tooth number difference using the structure of planetary reducer to output.Then, for reducing the rotate speed of the two pole oil-submersible motor in seven inches oil well, this thesis based on general mechanical design, using the closed diagrams of modification coefficients, finds feasible gear parameter. Consulting the structure of planetary reducer and the spot's need, the space in reducer is distributed in reason. Through calculation, all of the key parts have enough intensity. The force of planetary gear in this mechanism is calculated, and an error in literature is pointed out.Finally, the factors which to think over in the design of this new reducer are concluded. The other problems need to solve in the condition of well are listed.The research gives a new idea in Oil-submersible planetary gear reducer designing to some extent. And accumulate experiences in the space distribution of planetary reducer when there is a diameter restriction.
