Research And Design Of ESD In Synthetic Ammonia Producting Unit Based On PLC

Raw coal production of synthetic ammonia is inflammable and explosive and ittakes a large damage to the device and staff when an accident occurs. In connectionwith the processing technique of the synthetic ammonia production in a company, anEmergency shutdown (ESD) device system based on S7-400H PLC double redundancywas designed in order to improve the level of ammonia production enterprise securityand automated production management level. The ESD system hardware configuration,software configuration and the safety interlock logic for synthesis tower were mainlyintroduced and it would provide some reference for ammonia and petrochemicalenterprise security.The major work is as follows:(1) Learn the definition, development, composition, design principles, occasions,of emergency shutdown system while research ESD system parameters.(2) According to the ammonia production process and production equipmentcharacteristics,design ESD interlock logic of the core production unit and coreequipment and construct emergency shutdown system overall hardware architecturebased on the dual redundant S7-400H PLC.(3) Determine the type of PLC and add up the type and quantity of I/Opoints.Edit symbolic variables and define the relevant address by Siemens STEP7software.Selection of ET-200M distributed I/O stations, the hardware configurationfor ESD are done.And the related equipment is set to dual redundant.(4) FBD program has been designed based on interlocking logic and symbolicvariables.Through the emulator PLCSIM simulate and test program constantly,theultimately guarantee the ammonia plant timely interlock park when accident occurs.(5) Use WinCC HMI components for configuration,programming,and datamanagement in its friendly interface.Design the required operation screen, themonitor screen, the control screen, alarm screen and so on.
