In recent years, with the development of China’s urbanization and the rapiddevelopment of automobile industry, the car’s ownership is much higher than before.Inevitable car emissions of the environmental problems brought by the increasinglycause the attention of the public, motor vehicle exhaust has gradually become themain pollution source of affecting the quality of the air in cities. Motor vehicleexhaust emission of fine particulate matter has the distinctive features of smallparticle size, can be directly into the lungs, respiratory system, can even enter thebloodstream and cause a harm to human body each system. Under this background,the state administration of quality supervision, inspection and quarantine and the stateenvironmental protection department jointly issued the latest of the People’s Republicof China on the fifth phase of the light vehicle emission limits and measurementmethods, the motor vehicle exhaust emission particulate matter has a strict limit. Inview of this, this paper discusses the demand for the latest particle weighing andimplementation.The paper first introduces the background about the automobile exhaustemissions and particulate matter and the technical status quo, and on this basis toexplore particles weighing. Including the collection of vehicle exhaust particulates,weighing process design, process design, balance calibration weighing roomenvironment control, etc. At the same time, combined with the realization of theabove several technologies, we carry out a large number of particle emissionweighing system during the debugging and testing experiment.The paper introduced the development process of the automobile emissionparticles weighing system. According to the overall scheme design by systemrequirements analysis, introduces the design process of weighing scales, includingemission filter paper weighing weighing and reference filter operation, in order toensure the effective work of the scale, the balance calibration process design,including the partial load error measurement, repeatability and measurement of errorof measurement. Of the weighing system software development process, first of all electronic balance and the implementation of communication environmentalparameter acquisition unit and software are introduced, the software interface designare introduced, the system used in database systems are introduced. System hascarried on the corresponding functional test after online in advance.The weighing system, weighing results accurately, can successfully accomplishthe above functions. The research results of this paper have in engineering application,made contributions in the automobile exhaust emission test.
