The mainly produces dosage forms of a medical group in Jiangxi province. Thewaste water contains a lot of organic pollutants, if discharged directly withouttreatment, will cause certain harm to the environment and the people’s health. In orderto make the water discharging standard,we choose “Hydrolysis acidification+A/O+coagulating sedimentation”process the wastewater. Through the studying on thetheory of the combination process, and with the studying of the practical engineeringstart-up, operation, obtained the following results:1、The optimum operating condition of Hydrolysis acidification process: pH ofthe optimal value of5.5~6.5, the optimal hydraulic retention time for10h, volumeload is3.4kg COD/(m3˙d), the temperature at room temperature. The averageremoval rate of COD and SS were33%and55%respectively afte stable operation ofsystem.2、The optimum operating condition of A/O system: the operating temperatureis25~35℃, SV30maintain at25%~30%. A pool pH is6.0~8.0, dissolved oxygencontrol below0.6mg/L; O pool pH control in7.5~8.5, the dissolved oxygen at2.0~4.0mg/L. The nutrients of C: N: P keeps in100:5:1. When the system runs stably, theaverage removal rate of COD remained at80%, the removal rate of NH3-N couldmaintain at around85%.3、Adding PAC and PAM to the coagulation sedimentation tank, it caneffectively improve the removal of SS and also has certain effect on the CODremoval. Through the test in the laboratory to determine the best o-phenylenediamine:PAC is60mg/L, PAM is3mg/L, the average COD removal rate reached38%, theremoval rate of SS around70%.4、When “Hydrolysis acidification+A/O+coagulating sedimentation” runstably, the removal rate of COD is93%, NH3-N is87%, the average removal rate ofSS is90%. Water quality could completely meet Discharge standard of waterpollutants forpharmaceutical industry Chinese traditional medicine category(GB21906-2008) of the prescribed discharge standards.
