On the basic of summarizing the brazing process and sintering process, using nickel-based alloyto braze diamonds and to format a metal layer in the diamonds’ surface. Making a multi-layer sintereddiamond saw which has the effect of brazing successfully, discusses the brazed diamonds controllablebasic theory and the role between pre-brazed diamond and matrix.The main contents in this paper are as follows:(1) Observing the different brazing filler metals brazing diamonds morphology by usingscanning electron microscopy(SEM), and analyzing the impacts of the different metal powdersbrazing materials and brazing diamonds. Finding alloy A to attenuate nickel-based alloy to guaranteethe diamond strength and successfully achieving brazed diamond surface metallization.(2) Summary some empirical laws of granite diamond saw. Multi-layered sintered diamond sawblade is made which has the effect of brazing. The microstructure and the element distribution of thejoining interface, as well as the topography and the phase structure of the cross section of multilayerbrazed diamond saw blades, are analyzed by scanning electron microscope. There is a Ni elementmigration between the metal matrix powders and the surface of the brazed diamonds, metal matrixwith diamond brazing layer formed a metallurgical bond which improves the gripping force of thecarcass on the diamond.(3) Establish orthogonal experiment, produced nine different blade, sharpness as indicators todetermine a reasonable brazed diamond surface brazing concentration.(4) Using the brazed diamonds, coated diamonds and non-plated diamonds as grains to makeΦ350mm diamond circular saws. Verify the advantage of brazed diamond metalized and fetal bodycross-section analysis through cut granite plate test.
