The performance of support force for filled props in the retaining roadway along goaf isone of the factors that determines whether it is a success or not, and therefore, thecharacteristics of the filled prop along the roadway such as early-strength, high supportresistance, topping resistance,stress yielding, constant increase of stress plays a key role inguaranteeing that the rock around the roadway can keep stable and balance under theinfluence of dynamic stress of stope and advancing supporting pressure. This paper, by meansof the combination of various approaches such as the theoretical analysis, data stimulationcalculation and on-site industrial test, conducts a systematic research on the interactivemechanism between top plate of the retaining entry and the filled prop along the roadway, thecoordination and deformation one for filled prop and the around rock, hypodispersion effectof stress in the top of filled prop connected with soft medium,the stability of bricking filledprop connected by soft medium and applying relevant results to the actual support along theroadway. The main findings are listed as below:(1)Simplify the prop, soft medium connected with the top and top plate into equivalentsprings with various coefficients of rigidity and achieve the coordinated deformation betweenold top, immediate top and prop through design of intensity coefficient of filled prop,according to the interactive mechanism between filled prop and top plate, stress anddeformation relation between top plate and filled prop and their the coordinated deformationmechanism.(2)In the construction of filled props in the retaining roadway, we work out theconnection with the top achieved by soft filled prop can get used to the given deformation(rotary and subsided deformations) in the transition, achieve the even distribution of the stress in the top of filled prop and lower the stressing gathering of relatively high grade in the top offilled prop caused by the rotary subsidence and horizontal displacement of the top platearound the boundaries of filled prop, improving the load bearing stability of filled prop as awhole.(3)In the process of stopping the slope layer, waste rock in the goaf will relative greatimpact on the walls when sliding and will influences the walls’ stability to some extent. Forthis situation, this paper puts forward waste rock prevention systems with softness andstrength,namely, the wire netting works as the soft prevention systems while the anchor postas the strength one, they can effectively reduce the side impact on the wall caused by wasterock so that the load bearing stability of walls can be ensured in the process of retainingroadway.(4)Optimize the supporting means and parameters in the retaining roadway through thetheoretical analysis and simulation calculation. It enable the top plate of tunnel to enjoy theeffective support and meanwhile it also makes use of the self-bearing capacity of the plate,which further indicates that we shall not only focus on the control of the around rock but alsoon its self-bearing capacity in the support of tunnel.
