With the continuous development of automation technology for fully mechanizedcoal mining face, monitoring and control technology for fully mechanized equipmenthas become a new research hotspot. As one of key equipment for transportationsystem in fully mechanized coal mining face, stage loader automation is essential fortransport system automation and real-time monitoring for loader is the premise torealize stage loader automation. At present, monitoring and control system for stageloader does not implement local real-time monitoring of electrical parameters andautomatic control, and implement sensor information integration and sharing betweenlocal and crossheading. This situation leads to remote monitoring and fault diagnosisfor stage loader is not achieved.In view of the current problems of monitoring and control technology for stageloader, this paper studied on airborne monitoring and control, remote monitoring andcontrol, and fault diagnosis technology for stage loader. The main achievement of thispaper included:(1) According to real-time monitoring and automatic control requirements forstage loader, this paper analyzed the monitoring and control system architecture,studied on fundamental function of airborne monitoring and control system, remotemonitoring and control system at crossheading and remote monitoring and controlsystem on the ground for stage loader, and the mutual relationships between the three.(2) This paper developed the airborne monitoring and control device for stageloader, designed airborne monitoring and control host, developed monitoring andcontrol system and the network communication system with industrial Ethernetinterface for stage loader, implemented local and remote monitoring for stage loader.(3) This paper researched on remote fault diagnosis technology for stage loaderbased on adaptive weighting multi-sensor information fusion algorithm and D-Sevidence theory. This paper tested consistency of sensor data, established the adaptiveweighted fusion algorithm model, deduced the fusion algorithm; in order to solve theproblem of the conflict between evidence, this paper introduced the concept of weightof evidence, utilized combination rules of D-S evidence theory and implemented faultdiagnosis for stage loader based on remote monitoring and control platform.The industrial experiment of monitoring and control system for stage loader wasperformed in22210fully mechanized coal mining face of Pingdingshan Coal co.,LTD. between December2012and March2013. The industrial experiment result indicated the system can implement local remote monitoring and control, remotemonitoring and control at crossheading and on the ground.
