With the speeding up of the process of our modernization and the development ofChina’s coal mining technology, the capacity of hydraulic support bearing resistanceload, supporting height, supporting intensity and velocity of support move are continueto improve. It was found that in the localization process of the high-end hydraulicsupport and under the condition of high pressure large flow, products emerged withhigh accident rates, components changed frequently. Therefore, the study carried outon the water-based high-pressure large-flow valve not only has important scientificsignificance, but also has wide application and huge economic benefits.In this paper, large number relevant information has been accessed to generalizethe current situation of domestic and international development. Research status andapplication of high-pressure and large-flow safety valve are summarized. Given safetyvalve as an example,based on FLUENT simulation platform high-pressure large-flowsafety valve port flow field model is established and simulated. Through analyzing itsflow velocity, pressure, cavitation of primary and growth process, the mechanism andinfluence factors of the safety valve air-pocket cavitation are clarified. It proposes flowpassage optimization methods of high water-based high-pressure and large-flow valvein the paper. The dynamic characteristics of the valve are simulated by AMESim andaccording to the national standard its’ structural parameters are optimized; the safetyvalve sealing structure is simulated by ADINA, the mechanisms of seal failure isanalyzed and find out the right amount of compression.Finally, using high-pressure large-flow safety valve testing system, the safetyvalve opening overflow closing characteristic test has been carried on. The test resultsshow that the safety valve meets the design requirements, verify the correctness of thetheoretical analysis and design method.
