Porphyrin is an organic compound of big ring conjugate system. Porphyrincompounds widely exist in natural life, which play a very important role in the lifeactivities. For example metal porphyrin compounds chlorophyll, heme, vitaminB12etc play a very important role in the photosynthesis(chlorophyll) and oxygen transfer(hemoglobin), keeping (myoglobin), activation (cytochrome P-450). Today, with thedevelopment of the porphyrin and metal porphyrin synthesis, porphyrin has more andmore important role and application in biomimetic chemistry, catalysis, solar energy, special type materials, medicine and analytical chemistry etc.β-enaminone is an important intermediate for synthesis of a series of biologicaland pharmacological active substances and heterocyclic compounds, therefore, it hasimportant uses in the dye, medicine, pesticides and other industrial fields. In this paper β-enaminone portion was introduced to the porphyrin ring to obtainthe new functionalized porphyrin compounds, and their properties were studied. Thisthesis include four chapters, specific content as follows:Chapter one: In this chapter we comprehensively elaborated and evaluated thestructure, properties, research status, synthesis methods and applications of porphyrinand β-enaminone.Chapter two: In this chapter the synthesis methods of nitrophenylporphyrin wereintroduced, and we selected the optimal method to get series of nitrophenylporphyrins, then the series of aminophenylporphyrins were synthesized, thereaction condition and influence factors were discussed.Chapter three: Tetra(β-enaminonephenyl)porphyrin and their metal complexeswere synthesized with tetraaminophenylporpyrin. And the ultraviolet, infrared, nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), and fluorescence properties were discussed.Chapter four: Mono(β-enaminonephenyl)porphyrin and their metal complexeswere synthesized with monoaminophenylporpyrin. We discussed the reduction of β-enaminone portion, chosen NaBH4as a reducing agent reducted mono(β-enaminonephenyl)porphyrin to mono(β-aminoketonephenyl)porphyrin.
