Enaminone and porphyrin compounds have various reactivities and plentiful structural chemistry, so these compounds are important intermediates of organic synthesis and have their important applications in the fields of biology, catalysis and materials science, which have been receiving considerable attentions for long. For these,we initiated the studies on syntheses and properties of these compounds and their metal complexes, making a series of significant and creative developments.1. Sixteen normal enaminones, three porphyrin enaminones and twelve enaminone metal complexes, thirty-one compounds in all were synthesized and fully characterized by elemental analyses, 1HNMR, IR and UV sepctroscopies as well as by the single crystal structures of nine typical compounds determined by X-Ray diffraction methods.2. The reactions ofβ-diketone and primary alkylamines, aliphatic diamines were systematically studied and a series of Z-s-Z enaminones synthesized, the coordination reactions of synthesized enaminones with bivalent copper ion were researched in detail with a series of complexes synthesized. The structure of complex C5H5FeC5H4COCH=C(2-NCH2C5H4N)CH3Cu(OAc) was determined by the X-ray diffraction in which the enaminone is a tridentate ligand.3. The reactions ofβ-diketones and ATPP were preliminary studied and three new porphyrin-containing enaminones synthesized.4. The reactions of porphyrin enaminones with bivalent metal ions were primarily studied and a series of new metal complexes synthesized.
