We prepared graphite oxide (GO) using Hummers methods. Eliminating the hightemperature phase mainly SO42-hydrolysis, the interlayer spacing of GO will be widermainly due to the presence of SO42-. Washing the dried product, you will find a lot ofSO42-precipitated with Ba(NO3)2testing. The interlayer SO42-occurs hydrolysis whenwash the dried product. The method we used produce more fully oxidation GO, whichthe oxygen-containing groups of exist mainly in-OH, an epoxy group and edgecarboxyl group. It is beneficial to subsequent reduction of GO. The GO after lowtemperature heat or microwave treatment still contain a small amount ofoxygen-containing groups, but it is preferably for graphene based materialfunctionalized. It has a high application prospects in the super capacitor for exhibitingexcellent super capacitor performance. This specific research results include:1. Prepared easy reduction GO. Eliminate the Hummers method’s hightemperature hydrolysis section and extend the low temperature oxidation time, thenwash the dried GO to remove the interlayer SO42-to produce easy reduction GO. ByFT-IR, XRD, low temperature heat and microwave treatment to indicate outstandingperformance of prepared GO.2. Due to easily reduced oxygen-containing groups of GO, the various factors ofboth methods have little effect for expansion product structure and properties byFT-IR, XRD two analyzes means.3. Observe the morphology of GO and its expansion product by FE-SEM. thespecific capacitance of the low thermal expansion product testing by cyclicvoltammetry in2mol/L KOH solution was up to330.6F/g.
