China’s energy structure is dominated by coal, thermal power is the main consumer industry of coal, whose coal consumption accounts about60%of the total amount of coal consumption, and is also the largest industry in SO2emissions. Due to the acid rain caused by the emission of SO2has created extensive damage, China attaches great importance to the SO2and acid rain pollution, and tries to reduce SO2emissions and control the air pollution by SO2in recent years through a variety of methods. So developing a feasible fesulfurization technology, in view of the concrete condition of China’s thermal power especially the gangue power plant, to control the coal-fired flue gas efficiently, has become one of the important tipics of current research and engineering.Based on this background, the thesis studys and designs the transformation scheme of Hangjin Power Plant2×330MW coal gangue unit desulfurization system and main work is as follow:1. Analysing the main problems existing in the original design of the power plant desulfurization system.2. Making clear the laws and national plannings the transformation engineering should abide, and analyse the environment condition of the power plant unit.3. Making decision on the technology suitable to the transformation enginerring aiming at the background condition above.4. Accoring to the analysis above, a systematic and concrete scheme has been put forward on the transformation of Hangjin Power Plant2×330MW coal gangue unit desulfurization system.
