This thesis includes the following five parts.The first part introduced:1) the development of chiral NHC-metal compounds andthe Heck cross-coupling reaction from demestic and abroad,2) the application of chiralNHC-metal compounds as catalysts in organic synthesis.The second part described the muilt-step synthesis of a series of chiral ligands withreadily available amino acid as starting materials. The structures of the products weredetermined by1H NMR,13C NMR, and EA etc.The third part involves the synthesis of NHC-Pd complexes in argon atmosphere.All products were characterized by1H NMR,13C NMR, EA, and many of them werecharacterized by X-ray diffraction.The fourth part explores the synthesis of indene ketones derivatives by usingNHC-Pd compounds as catalysts.The fifth part studies the catalytic Heck cross-coupling reaction.By the way, the thesis only gave the1H NMR data for all of known compounds.
