In the process of coal mining and transportation,there involves how to storage and pile it. When piling the coal,the chemical reaction will happen between the coal carbon molecule and the surrounding oxygen molecules,which can release the heat slowly.If the heat can not be sent out in time,the temperature in the coal will increase quickly.And the quality of coal can be reduced,the spontaneous combustion occur.This disaster not only wasting the resources but also polluting the environment.The traditional methods of preventing it mainly contains punching and watering in the coal. When the moisture in coal heating,it absorbs the latent heat of vaporization,at this time,the heat released through the hole.The heat become lower.But this method influenced by the moisture,on the one hand,the moisture can take away the heat from coal in the form of water vapor,on the other hand,the contact area of the coal and air will increase when the water escape. This phenomenon can quicken the reaction and accumulate heat.If we can remove this heat effectively,we could achieve a goal of preventing and controlling the spontaneous combustion.Gravity heat pipe has been used in many aspects such as electronic components cooling, waste heat recovery and so on,which shows its high-efficiency thermal conducting.In this study,we try to apply it to removal and extract the internal combustion heat in the coal. This technique can not only achieve the goal of coal fire prevention, but also make full use of energy.In the same time,it is beneficial to prevent the underground coal fire to spread or burning again. The wasting heat extracted by heat pipe can also be utilized secondary.This paper try to use the experiment method to extract heat in the coal with the heat pipe inserting. We will carry on the contrast test to assessment the heat transfer performance by testing the temperature change in the coal. The process compare the cooling effect when the heat tube inserted or not. When the tube be inserted,wo would change its distance,depth and angle in the coal,we also change the cooling way of the condenser to evaluate the performance of the heat pipe. The results shows that the heat pipe can reduce the temperature obviously,when more light tubes inserted,with the distance,depth and angle reducing,the heat dissipation improve effectively.The coal pile internal temperature higher,the cooling effect of the heat pipe with condenser finned is better.Through the above conclusion,we can see the heat pipe can prevent or control the spontaneous combustion effectively.The thought in this paper provide a new way for the heat extraction and combustion in the coal.
