In the process of coal mining and washing,a large amount of coal gangue will be produced.As a solid waste,most of the coal gangue is not effectively utilized which is piled up near the coal mine,and the accumulated coal gangue piles up into mountains.The carbonaceous part of the coal gangue is similar to the coal component and is flammable.The carbon and sulfur compounds therein react with oxygen and water molecules in the environment to cause an exotherm.The spontaneous combustion will cause sulfide in the coal gangue,and the carbon component will be gas.The release of form into the environment poses a serious threat to human life and causes enormous damage to the environment.In the past,the traditional methods for self-ignition of coal gangue hills mainly include grouting method,shotcreting method,excavation and extinction method,surface burning method,etc.,which are treated by heat insulation,oxygen barrier and external temperature dissipation.However,the effectiveness of these methods on the internal heat source of coal gangue is not significant.Once the external treatment is loose,the internal heat source still exists and releases heat.If the heat inside the coal gangue mountain can be timely transferred out in time,and the heat source inside the coal gangue mountain is gradually reduced,the spontaneous combustion of the coal gangue mountain can be effectively controlled.Heat pipe technology has already shown its high heat transfer rate in the field of heat transfer.At this point,the heat of coal gangue mountain is extracted by gravity heat pipe to suppress the temperature of coal gangue mountain,and the purpose of effectively controlling coal gangue mountain spontaneous combustion is achieved.In this paper,the theory of coal smear spontaneous combustion and heat pipe is analyzed.Three different types of heat pipes are designed.Industrial experiments are carried out on specific coal gangue hills.The experimental results are analyzed.Through the different heat pipes around the evaporation section of the subsurface heat pipe,the temperature variation of coal gangue at different depths,the temperature change of the condensation section of the heat pipe on the surface,and the calculation and analysis of the heat transfer of different heat pipes.The results show that thetemperature of the internal temperature of coal gangue increases with depth in thevertical direction.The heat pipe insertion area can reduce the temperature of the area.The heat pipe can effectively extract the heat of the inserted area.Based on the heat dissipation of the surface condensation section,the heat dissipation capacity of the heat pipe is In turn,it is a finned tube,a water tube,and a double heat pipe,provide strong support for the development of heat pipe transfer heat treatment technology for coal gangue mountain spontaneous combustion.
