With substantially exploiting, an increasing number of mines confront with thethree unders problem (under building, under railway, under water). At the sametime, increasingly prominent environmental problems of waste emissions and groundsurface subsidence caused by large scale coal mining by traditional caving method.In recent years, such engineering problems have been successfully solved byfully-mechanized coal mining with solid waste filling which was independentresearched and developed by China University of Mining&Technology, and goodeconomic and social benefits have been achieved. But underground gangue mixed inraw coal still need to lift to the ground washing system to be selected and then betransported to the backfilling working face through vertical feeding bore hole. Onaccount of this, a production model of integration of coal mining, gangue separationand solid backfilling was put forward in this paper.Research methods of theoretical analysis, numerical simulation and industrialexperiments were used to explain the connotation of this integrated miningtechnology, to research system arrangement and process design, and to analysis typeselection design principle and structural performance of key devices. The mainresearch results achieved were as followings:(1)This paper has revealed the connotation of this integrated miningtechnology, provided perfect integrated system, established a new production model,and provided basis for the implementation and development of the miningtechnology which integrated coal mining, gangue separation and solid backfilling.(2)Production abilities of mining system, gangue washing system andbackfilling system were reasonable matched, as well as the key influence factor beanalyzed. As a conclusion, the key technical parameters of this integrated miningtechnology were optimized.(3)Key devices of this integrated mining technology were researched anddeveloped. With the cooperation of the key equipment which included buddle jig,high-frequency screen, backfilling hydtraulic support, preformatted scraper conveyor,shelf-moving belt conveyor, this technology has realized the separation of coal andgangue and the multidimensional space connection of transport pathway of gangue,filling space, backfilling equipment and working face. Technological process has been designed and optimized, which realized the orderly, efficient and safeproduction underground.(4)These research results has been successfully implemented in TangshanColliery of Kailuan Group, which has achieved820000t/a of coal-gangue separationability,90%of coal-gangue separation efficiency,500000t/a of production capacity,and650000t/a of gangue filling capacity. Situ measurement showed the maximumground subsidence values was18mm.
