Mine hoist is the key to one of the mine production equipments, because it takes thetask of lifting coal, coal gangue and lowering material, personnel and equipment. Safetyand high efficiency operation of hoist plays a vital role in improving the safety level ofcoal enterprise and the production efficiency. Hoist is generally in a high speed state ofvertical or inclined, and the height of hoisting is large. Once hoisting system fails, it willseriously affect the economic benefits of coal mine, and even endangers the miners’ lifesafety. Therefore, it is necessary to prevent the possibility of failure and monitor theoperation of the mine hoist. The composition of mine hoist mainly includes motor, reducer,roller, pulley, driving shaft and bearings of the shaft which carry out tasks suchas transferring motion, dynamic and variable speed. So the healthy of mine hoist or notdirectly relates to the benefit of the coal mine enterprises and personnel safety.In order to ensure the healthy operation of the mine hoist, the thesis designed theoverall scheme of mine hoist equipment detection. On the analysis of the common faultmechanism of mine hoist working organs and machinery transmission mechanism, thethesis focused on the scheme and method of hoist gear box test bench fault diagnosis anddesigned fault diagnosis system of gear box. According to vibration signal of acquisitionof test bench, the thesis used the combination method of wavelet transform andinformation entropy to analysis signal and extract feature. The contents main include:(1) Based on the structure parameters of mine hoist, failure form and the mode oftransmission of fault signal, the thesis designed overall scheme of mine hoist equipmentfault detection. Based on hoist actual situation on the scene, the type and the installationlocation of sensor are chosen. At the same time, detection methods of mine hoistmachinery fault characteristic parameter are analyzed.(2) Common fault types and failure mechanism of mine hoist working mechanismand mechanical transmission structure are analyzed, common fault features aresummarized and common methods of fault diagnosis are analyzed.(3) Based on virtual instrument experiment system, the system of hoist gear box testbench fault diagnosis is built. Meanwhile, wear, broken teeth, the failure of bearing innerand outer ring and failure of other parts are made by artificial. Research plan of faultdiagnosis of experiment platform is established and vibration signals under differentcondition are acquired and saved.(4) Algorithm and its application of Wavelet transform and information entropy ingear box fault diagnosis are researched. Feature extraction is made by using powerspectral entropy and wavelet energy spectrum entropy for acquisition of test bench vibration signal.
