With the development of economy and the quick pace of modem life, the frozenfood industry has become a pillar industry of the food industry. Quickfreezing equipment is the key to the development of frozen food. However, comparedwith developed countries, in this business our country lacks lack of overallcompetitiveness, such as the independent innovation ability is not strong, poorequipment stability and reliability. Spiral Freezer is widely applied in quick-frozenindustry, because it has the advantages of compact structure, wide range of frozengoods, but some defects are found obviously, such as high cost, complicatedmanufacturing processes and frequent equipment maintenance, etc. Therefore,strengthen the reliability research has important practical significance to improve itsoperation stability and economy.In this paper, spiral freezer conveying device is taken as the research object.Firstly, based on the introduction of the main structure and working principle of spiralfreezer, analyzed the conveyer common faults; And at the same time through systemictheoretical analysis, research is mainly focused on the conveyor belt spiral movementand force situation, the minimum turning force theory expression of conveyor belt isgot, and a practical example is calculated and analyzed. Secondly, the radial forcecalculation model of the drum system is established in this paper according to itsworking condition and stress characteristics. Then, the paper establishes finite elementmodel of the drum structure and applies the static analysis to the drum with ANSYSsoftware, the displacement and stress distribution of the drum law are got. And on thepremise of ensure the structural strength, the final optimal structure is obtained basedon modeling and repeatedly verifying by changing the quantity of the square tube inthe drum and the ring size. Finally, in order to study the dynamic performance of drumsystem, this paper has done the modal analysis on the basis of optimal structure, andgets the drum low order natural frequency and the corresponding vibration modecharacteristics. This paper analyzes the reliability of the outermost layer square tube structure that direct contact with the conveyor belt by adopting the combinationof GUI interactive operation and command flow method with probability designmodule of ANSYS software, and verifies the feasibility and reliability of the squaretube structure. The tension curve of conveyor belt change over time is obtained inactual operation process, the causes of signal fluctuations in detail are analyzed in thispaper.Analysis results show that equipment design cycle is shortened, the structure ofthe drum is greatly simplified, the drum weight is reduced5%, the production cost isreduced, the reliability and stability of equipment operation is enhanced based on thetheoretical analysis of conveying device, statics analysis, structure optimization, themodal analysis, the reliability analysis of the outer square tube and experimental study.The results of this paper can be used to provide reference for the reliability of theresearch about similar conveyer.
