Technology and machinery industry are entering into the high-speed developmentperiod, high speed, heavy load and high precision of the mechanical products becomedemanding goals. Kinematic pair gap existing in mechanical systems, enables pin shaftand sleeve contact at the collision phenomenon and produce severe vibration. In thecollision process, relative to the gapless mechanism, balance torque, joint reaction force,velocity and acceleration will increase by several times or even tens of times, so that allparts of the increase of the dynamic stress, mechanism of vibration and noise, abrasionof components to speed up the work efficiency and precision, somehow lower, causedgreat influence on the mechanism research and design.At the same time affect thedynamic characteristics of mechanism. Therefore, kinetics of clearance and flexiblecomponents have become an important research direction of the mechanism dynamics.This paper firstly introduces the present situation and the development condition ofdomestic and international clearance model. The clearance of two state modelsconsidering the pair elements are in separation and contacting with two kinds of state.Introduction of the structure and working principle of jaw crusher, and use theSolidworks software of PE-250*400jaw crusher crank rocker mechanism modeling,and giving a brief introduction to the virtual prototype technology and ADAMSsoftware.Secondly, by using the equivalent spring damping model, according to the motionmodel, detailed built gap contact model and friction model of clearance, and analysis ofclearance, contact conditions, and determine the parameters of the equivalent springdamper model. The dynamic mechanical system of3D model with the help of theanalysis software ADAMS, and the crusher crank and rocker mechanism to addconstraints and driving on the jaw type in ADAMS, then in ADAMS for the eccentricshaft (crank) and the movable jaw (link) to establish joint contact model.This paper studies the gapless and clearance, clearance and the eccentric shaft speed are not the same dynamic characteristics. Through different parameterssimulations of eccentric shaft of the mechanism (crank) and the movable jaw (link)effects of displacement, velocity, acceleration and kinematic pair elements contact force.And the rod piece is a flexible rod analysis of dynamic characteristics of mechanismwith clearance, the rigid rod when compared with the rod, and obtained the simulationresults, the flexible rod can buffer the kinematic pair contact force, and very close to theideal state of kinematic pair. Analysis of dynamic characteristics with clearance andflexible members choice can provide a theoretical basis for optimization of jaw crushercrank and rocker mechanism.
