The permanent magnetic coupler has relative motion between the conductor disk and the permanent magnet disk.It uses the magnetic field to pass through the magnetic circuit working air gap to carry on the torque transmission and it can control the transmission torque and load speed by adjusting the air gap between the main body and the main body.Permanent magnetic coupler has the advantages of simple structure,strong environmental adaptability,energy saving and environmental protection,isolation vibration transfer,avoid harmonics and electromagnetic interference etc.Now permanent magnetic coupler has been successfully used in electric power,petroleum,chemical industry.However,the application in coal mine production is not mature.In this paper,the design and analysis methods of permanent magnet magnetic coupler for mining belt conveyor are studied as follows:(1)This The basic structure,characteristics and working principle of permanent magnetic coupler are reviewed in detail.According to the working condition of the coal mine and the structure and performance of the existing permanent magnetic coupler,the detailed structure analysis and magnetic circuit design of the disc permanent magnetic coupler are carried out.By comparing the influence of the different magnetizing directions of permanent magnets on the magnetic induction intensity of the axial air gap,the magnetization direction of the permanent magnet should be magnetized along the axial direction of the permanent magnet plate.By comparing and analyzing different permanent magnetic materials,NdFeB permanent magnet material is selected.(2)According to the structural characteristics and material properties of permanent magnet magnetic coupler,electromagnetic field analysis is carried out.Ansoft software is used to carry out three-dimensional modeling and static and transient simulation of the model,and the influence of various factors on the output torque is analyzed and studied.According to the results of the simulation analysis,the parameters of the permanent magnetic coupler are optimized.(3)Based on the theory of heat transfer and the actual state of the permanent magnetic coupler,the temperature field and the temperature rise of the permanent magnetic coupler are analyzed by using Ansys Workbench software.To ensure that the permanent magnet magnetic coupler can run safely and reliably.(4)According to the technical requirements of the large belt conveyor,this paper studies the soft starting characteristics of the permanent magnet magnetic coupler from the starting curve of the belt conveyor.The output speed and torque of the permanent magnetic coupler are calculated by the given speed curve of the belt conveyor.Based on the simulation results,the relationship between the air gap and the rotational speed of the permanent magnet magnetic coupler is obtained.
