In iron ore, a part of sulfur exists in the form of pyrite,just needing monomerdissociation,by method of magnetic separation,can get the iron,sulfur separationeffect;and the sulfur which exists in the form of pyrrhotite is easy together withmagnetite into the iron concentrate, only by flotation method,can remove pyrrhotite,so as to realize the iron,sulfur separation,and reduce sulfur content in iron concentrate.Now the sulfur content of BaRun iron raw ore is greater than1.98%,magneticseparation process can remove most of pyrite,get iron concentrate which sulfurcontent is about0.8%,sulfur minerals in the iron ore concentrate are mainlypyrite,which is difficult to be removed using conventional magnetic separation andflotation technology,and with the further exploitation of ore,deep ore’s oxidationdegree is low,sulfur content is higher,the difficulty of the iron ore concentrate’sdesulfurization will be bigger and bigger,therefore,the research of the ironconcentrate’s new desulphurization technology is imperative.This thesis mainly were studied by the ores and magnetic separation of ironconcentrate of process mineralogy,and kinds and dosage of collector, pyrrhotitesurface oxidation state, flotation pulp pH value, activator kinds and dosage of reagentregime for the influence of high flotation desulfurization of pyrite concentrate.According to the mining company, the production practice and the existing flotationequipment, flotation process was optimized and reagent system solutions, which getthe best technological process and high flotation desulfurization of pyrite concentratereagent regime.Process mineralogy studies show that, Main metallic of ore minerals aremagnetite, martit,pyrite and pyrrhotite, khenpo of pyrrhotite are fine-grained for0.02~0.2mm.The mainly metallic minerals of Magnetic iron concentrate are magnetite,martit and pyrrhotite,which showed that pyrite is most prolapse in magnetic separationprocess. The results show that the CA+CuSO4as activator, butyl xanthate as a collector,2#oil as frother and process conditions of a coarse fine flotation flotation, iron oreconcentrate yield,which reached94.12%, total iron grade of67.67%, the sulfurcontent of iron concentrate0.15%, the desulfurization rate was82.13%.In addition, This thesis were studied on pyrrhotite flotation activation Byflotation kinetics tests, flotation product particle size analysis, flotation feed andproduct analysis and flotation feed XRD and SEM-EDS analysis productsmechanism,which gets the various factors in the process of flotation that effect onpyrrhotite.
