At present, in view of the steep hard thick coal seam and without an effective mining method. Due to the sharp inclined hard thick coal seam mining pressure appear not clear, coal seam roof manage complex, roof accident, low stop ing rate etc, which affect the improvement of mine production and economic benefits.The paper is based on Nei MonggoTaixi coal group Lanshan coal co. LTD, comined with Xingtai coal mine of two1coal seam has remarkable characteristics with coal hard, large dip angle of coal seam, high mashgas and thick seam. Thus, the main technical problems that Xingtai Coal Mine has to face are the improvement of hard top-coal caving characteristics. This paper, on the basis of analysis of the broken characteristics of hard top-coal, and combined with the coal seam’s two1engineering geological conditions, suggest the main technical measures and presplit blasting scheme on raising two1coal seam hard top-coal caving characteristics. Using the empirical method, the engineering analogy method, ANSYS numerical simulation method conduct presplit blasting analysis for two1seam hard roof. Through the field test, the problem that the two1coal seam hard top-coal is difficult to release has been successfully sloved, achieved the desired effect.These methods realized the coal hard and large dip angle fully mechanized top-coal caving mining technology breakthrough,and have guiding significance to sharp inclined hard thick coal seam of our country.
