Study On The Difference Of Main Indicators Of Ecological Textile Standards At Home And Abroad

Based on the introduction of ecological textile standard system in the EuropeanUnion, the United States, Japan and China, this paper analyzes the differences ofecological textile standard system at home and abroad on three aspects which areexecution mode, scope of application, the test items and technical requirements. With thetest standard of national standard(GB), International Standardization Organization(ISO),American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists(AATCC), Japanese IndustrialStandards(JIS), this paper carries on a detailed comparative analysis on the normal itemsof ecological textile standard. The three items are pH value, formaldehyde content, colorfastness(to water, to perspiration, to rubbing, to saliva, to washing).This paper selects four types of sample fabric which are outwear clothing,underwear, infant clothing and home textile. According to the experiment results of fourdifferent method standards, analyze the factors that influenced the results and carry outcorrelation analysis on the experiment results. The pH value experiment results showsthat AATCC standard is the most rigorous, followed by JIS standard, GB standard andISO standard are almost the same. The correlation of GB and ISO, AATCC and JIS aregood, the correlation of GB and AATCC, GB and JIS, ISO and AATCC, ISO and JIS arelittle worse. The formaldehyde content experiment results shows that AATCC standard isthe most rigorous, the remaining three standards are almost the same. The correlation ofGB and ISO, GB and JIS, ISO and JIS are good, the correlation of GB and AATCC, ISOand AATCC, AATCC and JIS are little worse. The color fastness experiment resultsshows that GB and ISO standard are almost the same, The results ofAATCC standard arelower than GB standard in water, perspiration, washing and higher than GB standard in rubbing. The some results of JIS standard are higher than GB standard in water,perspiration and the some are lower than GB standard.The experiment results of three normal items of ecological textile standard on fourdifferent methods shows that the test methods are differ from the degree of rigor, butsome experiment results of different standards exists correlation. With the experimentresults, the ecological textile standard of our country and the difference of applicablestandards between target market can be quantified.
