The Study On The Factors Influencing The Development Of China’s Environmental Protection Industry

Since the reforming and opening up, China’s economic development has been built on a growth mode, with high energy consumption, high pollution and extensive economic. If it continues, China’s economic development will be difficult. Under the constraints of international pressure and domestic low-carbon economy, resources and environment, environmental protection become big strategic choice of China’s economic sustainable development. As a new sunrise industry, environmental protection industry has a prominent position in the national economy. The study of environmental protection industry has important practical significance. Due to the late start of environmental protection industry in China, there is still a big gap compared with developed countries. To promote the further development of China’s environmental protection industry, it is necessary to analysis the influencing factors of the environmental protection industry. Through integrating domestic and foreign research results and use the DEA and regression analysis, the study’s results showed that:(1)China’s environmental protection industry is still depends on the level of economic development, and without mature profit model;(2)the level of development of science and technology and environmental protection industry into a positive correlation;(3)all of the government regulation, environmental pollution and environmental citizenship promote the development of environmental protection industry, but the effect is not obvious.Overall, the pulling effect of environmental pollution and environmental awareness on environmental citizenship is very weak. Hence the government need to strengthen its responsibility, consider the environmental costs into the evaluation system of regional economic and social development. And focusing on the development of environmental protection industry to strengthen guidance, the use of economic, technical, environmental policy and other means to stimulate environmental potential market realities changes in the market, and actively promote industrial upgrading institutional, industrial structure adjustment in terms of guiding industrial policy, investment policy, price policy, fiscal policy, monetary policy, providing a favorable market environment for the market, the scale of the development of environmental protection industry. Environmental companies should use their own capital, technology, talent and resources to develop new environmental technology in order to realize environmental technology commercialization and obtain higher profits.
